Sheehan & Reevewas founded in 1997 by Michael O. Sheehan and Richard A. Reeve. In 2014, Allison M. Near joined the firm and in 2015, the name was changed to Sheehan, Reeve & Near. For decades, we have dedicated our legal careers to representing accused individuals in state and federal prosecutions. We firmly believe that your constitutional right to counsel requires more than simply an attorney at our side, but rather a skilled advocate and a counselor who is committed to providing you with the fullest information and the most zealous and effective presentation of your case.
Our focus is the representation of individuals charged with crimes in the state and federal court systems, at the trial and appellate levels. Our practice area covers a broad range of criminal offenses, including misdemeanors, serious felonies, white collar crime, and death penalty cases. Additionally, we provide legal representation to individuals being investigated by, or called before, a grand jury.
We are committed to providing zealous and effective representation of individuals facing criminal investigations or charges in state and federal court. We believe it is a lawyer's highest duty to fully investigate all possible factual and legal claims, and that all of our clients have the right to receive an explanation of all available options when facing the potential loss of their liberty, reputation or livelihood. Each individual we represent comes to us with a unique set of problems and circumstances. Our goal is to listen and learn from our clients so that we can individually counsel and advise them with knowledge and sensitivity.
